Pain along the plantar fascia which goes from the heel (calcaneus) to the base of the toes (usually most common at base of the heel)
Usually most painful when first getting out of bed or after sitting for a long time
Often a slow onset of pain from loads the body isn’t used to (such as starting a new activity or increasing running distances)
